MAY WAKE UP SHOW |

May 26th - 30th, 2017 The May wake up show certainly lived up to its title as riders from across the UK and Europe converged on the International Arena in order to compete in the FEI CRI and get their scores for the FEI European Championships to be held in Switzerland in August. All Team GBR riders were present and rode well to secure places on the squad. Sterling Riders Doug Allen and Francesca Sternberg were selected to be on the Senior Squad and Tabitha Sternberg Allen will represent the Young Riders, making it quite a family affair! An historical addition to the show was the first ever Para Reining. Sir Lee Pearson, Ricky Balshaw and Fiona Durston swapped their top hat and tails and took to the Reining arena in front of a packed audience. By the end of the week all three had qualified for the World Para Reining Championships to be held in Ermalo in Holland in July. An incredible achievement after such a short time to make the switch from Dressage to Reining. |
